The evening of Thursday November 27 saw a unique event at the Regent Theatre.  Prince Edward County Field Naturalists hosted a program centered on Suzanne Pasternak’s haunting documentary about the fishing industry in Prince Edward County.  After a viewing of several History Moments by Peter Lockyer, Marc Seguin gave a presentation about the endangered Lighthouses along the County’s South Shore and Mark Despault, Tom Leighton and Suzanne sang two of Suzanne’s original songs.  The audience enthusiastically participated in the music and sat with rapt attention to the presentation and the documentary film.  On display in the Regent foyer was a scale replica of the original Main Duck Island Lighthouse.

The organizers thank Suzanne Pasternak, Marc Seguin, Bob Schroen of the Regent, Tom Leighton, Mark Despault, Peter Lockyer, Borys Holowacz, Craig MacMillan, Don Carr who built the replica of the original Main Duck Lighthouse and the County Wineries who donated the wine for sale in the foyer. Over $4000 was raised by the event to help in the struggle to Save Ostrander Point.
