Message from Cheryl Anderson and an invitation to Winter Wonderland

Hello PECFN members

The Ostrander Point ERT resumes on Thursday November 26 at 10 am in Demorestville.  Two witnesses remain to be heard: Sean Taylor and Mike Lord.  Both are witnesses for Gilead.

As we drag ourselves to one more day in this seemingly unending appeal, thank you to everyone who has been so loyal to PECFN.  It is wonderful to see all those determined faces sitting in uncomfortable plastic chairs to show the Tribunal how much we care about their decision.

The Appeal has been unending, but so is the fund raising.  We continue, especially since the fight to Save the South Shore has taken on a new dimension with the approval of the wpd project.  You may have noticed that there is a new name to our fund raising activities.  Our legal team, led by Eric Gillespie has advised that all funds deposited by the fund raising committees of PECFN and APPEC will be combined.  As a result a new fund has been created: the South Shore Appeal Fund.  Our fund raising events will deposit to this fund.

To start off 2016 we announce the Winter Wonderland Walk on January 16. Come out and enjoy this important fundraiser.
